Italy Barred American Tourists From Entering The Country

Italy barred 11 American tourists from entering the country after the border was closed due to Corona. American tourists arrived in Italy on July 1 by private plane.

Italy’s move is the result of a decision by the European Union on July 1 to allow citizens of certain countries to enter European countries, not including the United States.

According to sources, out of the 11 tourists detained, five are US citizens who were not allowed to enter Italy later while the other six tourists have been shifted to the quarantine center for two weeks before moving to other parts of Italy.
